Susan’s cousin, Dr. Tom Philipose( extreem left) brought a group of 16 friends, many of them senior citizens and tour guides themselves in Washington on a tour of India, 10 days in Kerala and 9 days in and around Delhi. This gave me a chance to enact my life’s fantasy of being guide to an enlightened group of tourist visiting India. Unfortunately, my job keeps me on my toes and I had to beg leave for two crucial days. But on the whole, this was an unforgettable experience. Here is the group at the McDonald’s at Mathura. Susan is on extreme right. Though they were thrilled to see the Mac and the big Yellow M, they loved Haldiram’s most. In the coming days I’d be posting a few shots from this trip.
